Third B. Krishna Memorial National Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition, 2011

Dear HNLU,

Symbiosis Law School, Pune in association with Krishna and Saurastri Associates, Patent and Trademark Attorneys, Mumbai invites students pursuing LLB, LLM or M.Phil (who have not completed 26 years as on 1st March 2011) to the Third B. Krishna Memorial National Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition from 11th to 13th March, 2011.

This year the Moot Court Competition will highlight/focus on the criminality of first filing requirements under the Patent Law and Criminality of Copyright infringement by hacking. The unique point of this moot is that the organisers have circulated two Moot Problems. One of the Problems will be for the Elimination Round and the other Problem will be for the Semi-Final and Final Rounds. The Organisers will announce the Problem for each Round on 11th March, 2011,at 6.00pm.

A maximum of 3 members per team is permitted.

Last Date for registration with the organisers is 20th February

Last Date to register with the MCC for internal rounds is the 31st January

NB: The participation will be restricted to the first thirty teams who confirm their participation on first come first served basis.

NB 2: The last date for registration alongwith scanned copy of registration form and draft has been extended till the 28th of Feb.

NB 3: The last date of memorial submission for both the problems is now extended to March 6, 2011. The teams must submit soft copies of the memorials by 11.59 pm on March 6, 2011. The hard copies must reach by March 8, 2011.
